If you are new to the Cheyenne area (or even a native), there is a special time of year that everyone waits for with anticipation, but it's not Christmas in July! Cheyenne Frontier Days officially kicks off this upcoming Friday, July 21st!
For those of you that were hoping this WAS a post about Christmas in July, you can actually experience Christmas all year round at a new downtown store in Cheyenne - Endless Christmas.
In the video below, we sat down with Mike Martin, Public Relations Chairman for CFD, to discuss what there is to do during Cheyenne Frontier Days. Many people might think that Cheyenne Frontier Days is just a rodeo & concert series, but there is a WHOLE lot more. Also featured in the video is Morgan Marks, Marketing Director for the Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum. The Old West Museum is a family friendly museum open year round that showcases the history of Cheyenne Frontier Days. In addition, the Old West Museum hosts the CFD Western Art Show & Sale, a Historic Movie Night Series, and boasts one of the largest collections of historic carriages in the United States.
Whether you are new to town or have lived in Cheyenne your entire life, there are new things to discover with Cheyenne Frontier Days each year. And don't forget, volunteering is a great way to make new connections, grow your business, or be part of the community that we work and play in.
